One Year Old!

Kameron is a year old! I can't even believe it. I've got a lot of pictures from his party that I'll share once I have time to go through them, but for now, here are his 12 month shots (along with a few I snapped of the other kids as well).

I thought I would try to get a few shots of the other kids since everything was set up, but I quickly discovered that my backdrop was nowhere near big enough for group shots. Also, for future reference, corralling a group of kiddos who are on an after-party sugar high, is next to impossible. Good to know.

Here's what 99.9% of my "group" shots looked like:

Oh boy. Clearly I need a lot more practice!

Debbie, we'll just have to try to get a shot of you and the kids again sometime!

On to the ones where we actually got a few of the kiddos to hold still for a split second.

This has got to be one of my favorites. Love their expressions!

Okay, that's it for twinkle lights! I'll post the rest of the party pics soon!

Fa, la, la, la, la...

We've been ringing in some major Christmas cheer here at home. Christmas cookies, movie specials, nighttime walks to look at neighborhood lights, gingerbread houses, gift wrapping...ring-a-ding-ding.

All of this of course means I've been spending very little time at my computer actually loading and posting photos, but I've got a little late-night free time so I thought I'd finally share a few of the Christmas things we've been enjoying lately:

Christmas Lights, Griswold style, that hover precariously somewhere on the line between awesome and tacky. (Just the way I like it. You're welcome neighbors.)

Baking cookies with Grandma.

My super talented sister who can work wonders on a little girl's hair. For realz.

And her super talented son. This kid can spend hours at a time, meticulously perfecting his craft. Pouring his time, energy, and focus into whatever it is that he is working on. Love that.

Sydney's first gingerbread house.

Only a few more days until Christmas. Hope you all are enjoying the season. I'm off to wrap a few more presents....fa, la, la, la, la....la, la, la...la!
