It's county fair time!
This is the first year that Sydney has really been old (i.e. - tall) enough to do any rides. She can be a little timid at times, so with the height and speed of some of the rides and the strange men helping her on and off of the rides, I wasn't so sure she would go for it.
Man-o-man was I wrong. I have the hole in my pocketbook to prove it. This little girl was in carnival ride heaven.
It's true what they say; it really is so much more fun to experience these kinds of things through the eyes of your kids. Their excitement is contagious.
You know what else is contagious? Funnel cakes.
OK, that statement doesn't make a lick of sense, but it transitioned me to funnel cake, so who cares?
Funnel cake with strawberry topping. I die.
Going to the fair gives you completely legit excuse to indulge in an all out, fried food, sugary food, free-for-all. At least that's what I like to believe.
Lillian didn't really know what to think of the cotton candy. She found it to be more of a ticklish, hilarious, toy than anything else.
What an awesome night. I hope my girls are locking away these summer memories, I know I am.
